Multimedia Journalist

About

I am a multimedia journalist based in New York City. I report, write, and produce stories for broadcast or webcast. I find passionate storytellers, compelling narratives, and gripping images to both move and inform the viewer.

I have produced documentaries, news, essays and interviews for PBS, ABC, CNN and CNBC. My experience spans many styles of visual storytelling from historical to verité, and infographics to picture books.  My latest documentary is American Beat: Cops and Refugees Join Forces in Boise. My most recent staff positions were as a producer for Moyers & Company on public television and as a web writer and producer for BillMoyers.com. Currently I am producing interactive multimedia stories for the web.

I earned my masters degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and my undergraduate degree from Harvard College. I was a 2004 John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford University.
