I am a multimedia journalist based in New York City. I report, write and produce stories for broadcast or web. I find passionate storytellers, compelling narratives and bold images to move and inform the viewer.
I have produced documentaries, breaking news, essays and interviews for PBS, ABC News, CNN and CNBC. I have a wealth of experience in genres from narrated history to verité.
In 2019, I helped launch the new three-part series, Family Pictures USA, that premiered on PBS. My latest documentary, American Beat: Cops and Refugees Join Forces in Boise, was broadcast on PBS World in 2018, and won a NW Regional Emmy Award. Before 2018, I worked primarily for Bill Moyers. I was a staff writer and producer for BillMoyers.com and prior to that I was a producer for Moyers & Company and Bill Moyers Journal on public television.
I earned my masters degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and my undergraduate degree from Harvard College. I was a 2004 John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford University.
